Sooty-headed Bulbuls, most with a red vent, are as common in northern Thailand as our Robins in spring. Not everyone has the pleasure of seeing the lovely Purple Sunbird, but we had them in our yard almost every day while we were in Chian Rai. We also had a Blue Rock-thrush on our roof one day, and we almost always had Japanese White-eye in the backyard tree next to the deck. |
