Bang Pra Non-hunting Area Thailand, November 18, 2007 |
We were lucky enough to have a guide in Thailand, Peter Ericsson, who took us bird watching near Pattaya at Bang Pra Non-Hunting area in the south east: http://www.thaibirding.com/locations/south_east/bangpra.htm Peter is a tireless guide who packed a Canon Digital Rebel with the equivalent of a 420mm lens on one shoulder, and a spotting scope on the other, and binoculars around his neck. Peter speaks perfect English and is also fluent in Thai—the perfect combination for us. We saw many birds, but only have one picture from the trip, and Peter was very excited about seeing the Black-browed Reed-Warbler. Here is a list of what we saw: |
